Boxing is a dynamic combat sport emphasising striking with the fists above the belt while wearing padded gloves. At MMA Lab Milton, our experienced coaches focus on teaching the fundamentals of boxing technique, footwork, and conditioning to help athletes thrive in the ring. While traditional boxing primarily involves punches, certain styles may also incorporate kicks, elbow strikes, knee strikes, and headbutts. Victories can be achieved through knockouts, judges’ decisions, referees’ calls, or due to injury. Our dedicated coaching staff are here to support you in mastering the art of boxing, whether you’re training for competition or personal fitness.

Functional fitness classes

Heat (high intensity, low weight class), core, weight and mobility

Functional fitness is a training approach designed to enhance strength and performance for everyday activities, improving overall quality of life. Focusing on fundamental movements like squatting, bending, and twisting helps reduce injury risk and promotes better mental health. 

At MMA Lab, our functional fitness classes are specifically tailored with fight camp training in mind, running every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:30 to 7:30 AM. Led by our skilled personal trainers, these classes cater to all fitness levels and abilities. Participants can engage in a variety of sessions, including high-intensity/low-weight workouts, core strengthening, weight training, and mobility exercises. Each class targets different muscle groups, ensuring a well-rounded and effective training experience. 

We also offer corporate fitness classes, making it easy for teams to prioritise health and wellness together. Join us to elevate your strength, agility, and overall well-being!
